We've recently, under our doctor's recommendations, started Emma on rice cereal. She spits out more than she eats and makes some pretty hilarious faces, but we're making progress!
Here's a little glimpse into our life. We witness God's grace and his love every day as we watch our little girls grow. Each of them are a blessing and make us laugh every day. Emma is no longer a baby--she is walking, talking, making decisions and choices and discovering God's magnificent world. She loves books, animals, crackers, Sigsbee, juice, and her slide. Lauren is smiling, crawling and exploring the world at her level. Every day is an adventure and its our pleasure to invite you along.
How can you not laugh out loud?
It never ceases to amaze us or make us laugh when hearing some of the phrases that Emma comes up with. We decided to record some so that someday she can laugh, too. We hope you enjoy!
When Emma has gas, she will often refer to the noise as sounding like a woodpecker. One morning she commented on daddy's noises...he had a woodpecker in his pants.
"I have a hamburger in my nose." We suspect she was referring to a booger--booger sounds a lot like burger?!
She walks up to Nate and says, "Hey, what's the big idea?" after he takes something away from her. This phrase comes from Imagination Movers, one of her faves on Disney, but it was hilariously appropriate for the situation.
"I want a bite of raccoon." asking for a crouton
"Mommy you back from college?" Her first words in the morning after my class.
We were garage sale-ing this past week and Emma says out of the blue, "Thank you, God." I said, Thank you God for what, Emma? Her reply..."Toys."
Emma was in the bathtub last night and Nate asked her if she wanted to get out and watch movies. She said, "That is very interesting."
Too much tv?? She told me the other day, "Don't get mad, get glad."
